Style questions, introduction, and answer text
Styling your survey questions, introduction, and answer text can significantly impact your survey's overall appearance and user experience.
Add an introduction text to your question - a great way to provide context and background information to your survey questions. It can help respondents better understand the purpose of the survey and the specific question.
Use Bold, Italics, Hyperlinks, and Line breaks in your survey questions - use formatting tools to enhance focus and memorability.

Don't forget to say "Thank you!"💌
Always express gratitude to your respondents after you have gathered responses or asked for feedback. Take a moment to thank customers sincerely for their feedback. Let them know that their opinions are valued and appreciated. A simple "Thank you for your feedback" can go a long way in showing your gratitude and can also improve your survey response rate.
💡Make your thank you message personal by addressing customers by name and referring to their feedback. This touch shows you're actively listening and genuinely interested in their thoughts.
Set up survey logic
Survey logic allows you to customize the survey experience based on a participant's previous answers. For example, you can use survey logic to show or hide specific questions based on a participant's previous responses. This helps to create a more personalized survey experience for participants, leading to higher response rates and better-quality data.
Design your survey
Survicate offers customization options to enhance the appearance of your surveys, engage your audience, and gather valuable insights. To customize your survey to the next level, you can add a picture to your survey questions, design a background, color a button, answer, etc.
Add images to surveys - you can do this in two ways: upload the picture from your device to a Welcome Message or add an image with an HTML tag to other question types.
Design your survey look and colours - create a visually appealing and professional survey that reflects your brand and resonates with your audience.
Preview your survey
During the test, several factors are considered: survey design, question clarity and response options, logic configuration to each question if needed, and integration settings.
Survicate offers a preview mode that allows you to see your survey as your customers will see it on desktop and mobile devices.
If you prefer to test the survey live, you have multiple options:
For email/link survey, go to the Share section to copy your survey link and test it live in your browser. You can also test the survey by adding the survey's HTML code to your test email, if you want to see how the survey will look like in the email.
In the case of a website survey, first ensure that the tracking code is installed correctly. Then, you can test the survey live on the page where it should appear, as per your settings. You must match all the target and audience conditions in your survey settings.
If you test your survey live, this response will count towards your subscription limit. You can later delete the test responses from the Analyze tab so they don't influence your survey results.
