You can remove all responses from a particular respondent based on their e-mail address or respondent ID in situations when you wish to:

  • ensure GDPR compliance, to comply with right-to-erasure requests;

  • not count answers from a respondent who isn't your client anymore;

  • delete someone's responses to all your surveys at once and not one by one.

In this article, you'll learn how to remove all responses collected from a single e-mail address or respondent ID from all your surveys with a few simple steps.

Delete answers from a particular respondent

2. Enter the respondent's e-mail address or respondent ID and click on Search.

3. Click on the πŸ—‘ icon next to their response to remove this survey answer:

πŸ”§If there is more than one result for one respondent ID or e-mail address, you can delete all of them.

4. If you want to delete responses from another respondent, repeat steps 2 and 3.

πŸ“Œ Deleting a response is permanent and cannot be undone!

πŸ“Œ Please note that deleting answers doesn't affect the response limit.

Troubleshooting

I can't access the Settings > Delete respondents tab

To delete responses, you must be the organization owner or the workspace admin. You can ask the account owner to grant you admin permissions.
