Targeting your surveys based on login status enables you to gather insights into the needs of your known or unknown visitors. If you are collecting user_id or email attribute, you will be able to target your surveys based on the log-in status of your users and include or exclude them from certain surveys.

❗️To identify your logged-in visitors, you'll need to install the tracking code and pass the visitor traits to your website. You can find the ID capture code under Settings > Web surveys and modify it to match your code structure.

When you've added the code, you can continue setting up the Target tab. Read on to learn how to do it πŸš€

Set up targeting

1. To set up targeting based on login status, head over to Edit > Target > Audience:

2. Create a New Audience, then pick Logged-in status under the Add Filter button:

3. Here, pick whether you'd like to include or exclude the visitors based on their login status:

πŸ“ŒNote: You can choose to include or exclude this group of visitors:

4. Once you are ready with your settings, click Create Audience:

πŸ’‘ You can also add more filters to a specific audience by clicking Add Filter.

❗️Remember! You have to enable the audience to display the survey properly!

πŸ“Œ If you have two or more audiences enabled, we trigger the surveys to all enabled audiences.
