Add new contacts to your HubSpot profile with Survicate contact form questions

With our HubSpot Integration, you can automatically and conveniently add new contacts to your HubSpot CRM via contact forms in the surveys. For example, by adding a form to a website survey, you can convert website visitors to leads. This feature works with Email/link surveys, Mobile surveys, and Website surveys.

Step 1. Create a website or email/link survey

1. Log in to your account, and you'll see the panel where you can view all surveys you've created - active and inactive. To create a new survey, click on Create new survey.

2. Based on your needs, pick an Email or shareable link survey or a Website survey from the menu. You can either set up a survey of your own (start from scratch), select a survey from our templates library (start from template), or create a survey with AI.

Step 2. Add a contact form to your survey

1. Add a new question to your survey - a Contact form question:

2. Your contact form has to include the E-mail field, and it has to be marked as required:

📌 If a respondent only fills out the E-mail field without filling out the First name and Last name fields, we'll still create a contact.

3. In the Settings tab of your contact form, you can also add a Consent checkbox or a Disclaimer:

Step 3. Add other questions

You can add as many other questions as you wish to your survey to gather valuable feedback and information from your respondents. If you'd like to send this data to your newly created contacts, the contact form has to be the first question of the survey.

Step 4. Connect HubSpot Integration

1. To enable HubSpot integration, go to the Connect tab of your survey, find, and pick HubSpot from the list of integrations.

2. Click the Connect button to set up the authorization.

3. A pop-up window will appear for you to log in to your HubSpot account. If you don't see the pop-up window, you may need to allow pop-ups in your browser - please look for the settings in your browser URL bar, or use instructions for Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge, or Safari.

Step 5. Configure the HubSpot Integration

1. Go to the connect tab of your survey and find the HubSpot Integration in the Connected Integrations list. In the Integration settings, choose the contact form question from the list and enable the Create new contacts in HubSpot toggle:

If you have other questions in your survey that you'd like to connect, you can go to the Update fields tab and set up the integration to update the newly created contacts with survey responses. You can either choose existing HubSpot fields or create new ones:

Please note that the questions that should update HubSpot fields should be placed after the Contact form in your survey.

📌 If there are existing contacts with the same email addresses, we'll simply update them instead of creating a new contact.

Step 6. Gather new contacts in your HubSpot CRM

High five! Once a respondent answers your survey and fills out the contact form, you'll see them as new contacts in HubSpot 🎉
