View Survicate responses as HubSpot's App Cards

The Survicate and HubSpot integration allows you to send survey responses to existing or new contacts in real time, quickly jump to respondents' HubSpot profiles from the text (open-ended) answers, and use Survicate contact forms to generate new leads in HubSpot.

With the new HubSpot App Cards feature, you can now also:

  • display a contact's detailed Survicate activity in their profile,

  • access their response in Survicate with one click from HubSpot, 

  • and send a piece of feedback from the contact to Insights Hub.


Connect HubSpot integration

1. To enable HubSpot integration, go to Integrations > HubSpot.

2. Click the Connect button to set up the authorization.

3. A pop-up window will appear, asking you to log in to your HubSpot account. If you don't see the pop-up window, you may need to allow pop-ups in your browser - please look for the settings in your browser URL bar, or use instructions for Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge, or Safari.

4. The integration is ready to use!

Now, you can:

Enable HubSpot App Cards

App Cards is a feature in HubSpot that allows you to display information from a third party, in this case, Survicate, in your contact's HubSpot profile to keep track of their activities or responses in the profile view.

To use Survicate App Cards, you'll need to enable the following settings in your HubSpot account:

1. Go to Settings > Connected Apps > Survicate:

2. Click on Survicate > Add to Contact:

To set up App Cards for Company, Deal, or Ticket, select Add to Company/Deal/Ticket instead, and then follow the next steps.

3. Open Default view:

4. In Edit layout, click Add cards in the middle column menu and check Survicate survey responses options:

5. Close the middle column editor and then, click on Add cards on the right sidebar:

and check Send feedback to Survicate:

When you enter a Contact's profile in HubSpot, you can access the App Card named Survicate Responses to see details about this person's Survicate activity:

Here, you can quickly get an overview of all surveys this Contact answered, what responses they provided, as well as easily jump to each response in the Survicate panel.

Send information from HubSpot to Survicate

In the record preview sidebar on the right-hand side of your Contact, Deal, Ticket, or Company, you’ll find an option to Send feedback to Survicate:

Add a title, type in your feedback, and click Send to Survicate.

This way, you can quickly pass information to your Insights Hub, which will store it in your Survicate account alongside data from other sources, and from HubSpot tickets.

In the Insights Hub, your feedback will be categorized into Topics. You can also filter feedback by its source, including HubSpot.
