If you ever felt a need to organize your surveys better, let us introduce you to the vast possibilities of multiple workspaces 😊 Workspaces are separated spaces in your Survicate account that help you organize your surveys, integrations, and user permissions.

On self-service plans, you get 1 workspace.

On custom plans, you can get a custom number of workspaces - if you are interested in more details, please contact us, and we'll prepare a custom pricing suited for your needs πŸ˜‰

How to use workspaces for better organization and collaboration

Creating separate workspaces for different projects, teams, or departments allows you to keep your surveys and feedback campaigns organized and easily accessible. This can help you save time and improve efficiency, as you won't have to spend time searching for the right survey or campaign.

Each workspace can have different users and permissions, so you can grant access to the workspaces only to those teammates who work in a particular department. Thanks to that, you can allow them to access and work on the relevant surveys and feedback campaigns to their roles.

How to enhance data privacy with separate workspaces

Separate workspaces can also be used to enhance data security. With custom permissions, you can ensure that sensitive data is only accessible to authorized team members. This can help you comply with data privacy regulations and prevent data breaches.

Here's how one teammate's access level can differ between workspaces in your account:

How to better organize website surveys with separate workspaces

Each workspace you create will have a different workspace key and tracking code. If you run your website surveys on more than one website, separate workspace keys will minimize the risk of displaying the wrong survey on the wrong website. It will be even more helpful if you run a lot of surveys simultaneously and want to keep precise track of them.

If you use a test website to experiment with different survey questions, response options, and designs, a separate workspace will help you do that without the risk of affecting your live surveys.

How can separate workspaces be useful for integrations?

A workspace can only be connected with one profile of a chosen integration. If you want to connect more than one profile, it is possible with an additional Survicate workspace. This rule also applies to integrations' workspaces. For instance, if you'd like to connect more than one Salesforce workspace, you'll need an additional workspace, too.

If you'd like to read more about integrations, please see connect integrations 😊

Multiple workspaces and custom domains

By default, a custom domain is added for the whole workspace and is applied to all Email or Shareable link surveys in this workspace. With multiple workspaces, you can use a different custom domain for each workspace.

How to add a new workspace

If your subscription allows you to have more than one workspace, you can add it and configure it in your Survicate panel.

In order to do so, please go to Settings -> Organization Settings. Go to the workspaces section, and click on Add workspace:

In the Create new workspace view, you can add the workspace's name, choose the default language, and choose which teammates you want to add to this workspace:

Troubleshooting

I can't purchase an additional workspace in the panel

It is not possible for now to purchase a new workspace in the panel. If you'd like to add an additional workspace to your account, please contact support@survicate.com or send us a message via chat 😊

How do I move/copy a survey from one workspace to another?

If you are interested in moving (copying) one or multiple of your surveys between your workspaces, please reach out to our team via chat or email support@survicate.com.

πŸ“Œ Please note that it's only possible to migrate (copy) the survey questions and settings; we can't move the survey responses between workspaces.
