You can analyze feedback stored in the Insights Hub and on your surveys with the AI Chat.

Find answers to all your questions quickly and effectively, with AI. The AI Chat can answer your question based on:

  • data from various sources that you synced to Insights Hub;

  • the survey results on your account.

You can use the AI Chat whether you have already connected some data sources, or just collected feedback with your surveys.

Navigate to AI Chat on the right side of your Survicate Panel:

Here, thanks to AI, you can ask the Chat to identify trends and key issues that the respondents report or to better understand customer opinions on your products, services, and business:

The answers are based on data from sources you connected to the Insights Hub, as well as feedback from the surveys on your Survicate account.

Feel free to ask follow-up questions if the first answer isn't clear or suitable enough.

Additionally, you can:

  • select sources from which the answer is generated, to ask detailed questions, while excluding potentially noisy data,

  • select the date range for the data, with the default range being one year:

Feel free to use one of the Suggestions if you're unsure what to ask!

AI Chat's responses take into account responses from surveys you have in Survicate (of surveys that aren't archived).

If you'd rather it analyzed only chosen surveys, specify them in the prompt, e.g.:

Summarize negative feedback from respondents from surveys "CSAT 2024" and "User satisfaction Q1 2024".

❗️The AI Chat is currently only aware of surveys containing these question types:

  • Single

  • Dropdown

  • Multiple Choice

  • Rating

  • Smiley

  • NPS®

❗ The AI Chat is currently not aware of User attributes.

Use AI Chat from Slack

You can use the Slack integration to ask your Survicate AI Chat about:

  • the data stored in your Insights Hub,

  • what respondents mention in their survey submissions,

  • statistics and trends among your surveys.

It lets your teammates, who aren't Survicate users, analyze feedback this way as well!

Here's how to set it up:

1. Go to Integrations and find Slack:

Click the Connect button to set up the authorization. A pop-up window will appear for you to log in to your Slack account. After that is done, to connect Survicate to Slack, your Slack workspace admin will need to approve the notifications from Slackbot. They should see such a request:

Then, go to the Settings tab of the Slack integration, Enable Research Assistant in Slack, and read and accept the Terms of Service for Research Assistant in Slack:

You also have the option to Dismiss the Terms of Service; in this case, the feature won't be enabled.

2. Now that you've connected Slack and the AI Chat, learn how to make the most of it.

a. Type: “@Survicate - Customer Feedback Platform How can we improve our app?”

The first time this prompt is used in this particular Slack channel, you will be asked to add the Slackbot to the channel:

This prompt will return and publish an answer that will be visible to everyone in the Slack channel.

b. Type: “/Survicate How satisfied are our customers?”

This prompt will return an answer that is visible only to you and let you choose whether to publish it to the channel or dismiss it:

c. Click three dots next to any message in the channel ➡️ Ask Survicate:

A new pop-up window will appear, where you can either adjust the question or submit it:

This prompt will return an answer that is visible only to you. You can then choose whether to publish it to the channel or dismiss it.

The AI Chat's responses include references to the feedback they present, so you can check out the particular survey answers or notes that answer your questions:

3. Go to Survicate ➡️ AI Chat to see the queries that you’ve asked in Slack, along with the responses that you saw in Slack as well.

AI Chat will show the first and last name of the user who asked the question in Slack:

Ask questions from the Home page

You can also ask questions directly on the Home page after logging into your account:

They'll be counted into the monthly chat limit, same as other questions for the AI Chat.

🚀 Now, all your feedback can be analyzed in seconds. And the AI Chat can help you decide what surveys to run in the future to fill in the missing information.
