E-mail reports contain an overall summary of the answers your survey has received in a certain period of time, as well as a sample of the answers to the text questions.

With e-mail reports, you can:

  • track the overall sentiment of your respondents' survey answers;

  • let your colleagues know what your clients think of your product by making them the recipients of the survey's reports;

  • stay up-to-date with challenges your customers are experiencing;

  • be able to act fast on the feedback from your respondents.

This feature is available for all of our survey types!

In this article, you'll learn how to receive daily, weekly or monthly sum-ups of all responses collected in this period of time. If you want to receive an e-mail notification every time a new answer is submitted, read about e-mail notifications.

πŸ”§ By default, weekly e-mail reports are enabled for each new survey you create, and they're sent to the survey's author. If you don't want to receive them or want to change who and how often get them, you can update your settings anytime!

Enable and configure the e-mail reports

You may enable daily, weekly, or monthly survey reports, which we will deliver to your inbox. They will look like this:

You can see the latest answers and quickly jump to all the responses by clicking on View survey results to see more details about your respondents.

1. To enable them, go to the Analyze > E-mail reports tab and choose the Delivery frequency.

2. Choose if you want to receive your reports daily, weekly, or monthly.

Monthly and Weekly reports are sent after a month or a week, counting from the day the reports were enabled.

Daily reports are sent every 24 hours, counting from the moment you enable them. They include reports from the past 24 hours.

3. Enter the e-mail address to which we should send the reports. You can also enable reports for multiple e-mail addresses by clicking on + Add new e-mail.

πŸ’‘Changes will be saved automatically.

Disable e-mail reports or exclude recipients

  • If you want us to stop sending e-mail reports from a certain survey, change the Delivery frequency to Never. You can always decide to change it back.

  • If you want to exclude one of the recipients from being sent e-mail reports, simply click on the ❌ sign next to their e-mail address:

πŸ’‘ Changes will be saved automatically.

Troubleshooting

I don't see the e-mail reports in my inbox

Please check your SPAM folder and ensure the required time period since the e-mail reports were enabled has already passed.

Please check if your survey has received any responses in the last period, for which the report should be sent.

I can't enable Daily reports for one recipient and Weekly or Monthly reports for someone else

It's currently impossible to enable different frequency settings for different recipients for one survey. If you'd like to see such a feature in Survicate, please talk to us in chat about your use case.

I don't see the responses to my matrix question in the reports

Matrix questions are currently not supported in the Email reports. If you'd like us to add this feature, talk to us on chat about your use case πŸš€πŸ‘‰.
