LiveChat integration allows you to synchronize your chat transcripts to Survicate effortlessly.
Read on to learn how you can transfer your chat transcripts from Livechat to Research Hub! 🚀
Connect LiveChat with Research Hub
Step 1. Navigate to Hub in your Survicate Panel ➡️ Data Sources ➡️ Integration ➡️ LiveChat ➡️ Connect.
Step 2. Click Connect in the top-right corner of the next page.
A pop-up window will appear for you to log in to your LiveChat account. If you don't see the pop-up window, you may need to allow pop-ups in your browser - please look for the settings in your browser URL bar, or use instructions for Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge, or Safari.
📌 After connecting the integration, enable the automatic synchronization of chat transcripts from LiveChat to Research Hub.
⌛️ The automatic synchronization of chat transcripts from LiveChat to Survicate Research Hub will send newly closed conversations every hour on the hour (at the beginning of each hour), if there are new closed chats to sync.
You can choose whether you want to sync all chats or just those tagged with chosen tags.
🎉 Select one of the options and click Save.
Step 3. You can decide whether to collect your chat transcripts from the moment of connection or to pass on past chat transcripts as well. Just select a time frame for importing past chats and click Import.
After choosing to import past chat transcripts, you will start receiving them to the Research Hub right away. You can watch the count increase directly in the integration box as past chats are imported, so you always know how much data is available before you run your first project.
💡 The Last year option will import reviews from the last 365 days.
Using Research Hub
Now that you have connected an integration to Research Hub, you can use this feedback as a source in any Project. Research Hub's AI will analyze it alongside feedback from your other connected sources to:
surface key themes and trends across your feedback;
identify issues and concerns reported by customers;
generate a ready-to-review report summarizing findings and conclusions.
Run a Project
To put this feedback to work, start a Project. Give it a research question, select this integration as one of your sources, and click New Research Project.
A Research Project is a focused analysis built around a specific research question. You define the question, choose which feedback sources to include, and run the analysis on your terms.
Select LiveChat transcripts when setting up a project to let Research Hub synthesize patterns from real customer conversations into your reports.
The report summarizes the key themes from your feedback, with each conclusion linked directly to the source quote.
💡To maximize its effectiveness, combine LiveChat with other sources within the same project, which will strengthen your findings.
Once your report is generated, Research Hub surfaces AI-discovered insights based on the patterns found across your sources. From there, you can select any specific insight to track it over time.
Add more feedback
At any point, click Data to connect another source. If you haven't uploaded transcription or files before navigate to the Research Hub ➡️ Data Source to upload new data after that you can use in your running research.
Check out this section of our Help Center to read more about feedback sources available in Research Hub.
Ask Research Assistant
Research Hub comes with a Research Assistant that can answer questions about your feedback directly. Open it inside a Project and it will already know your research goals and the sources you've selected - no need to explain the context each time.
Ask it to surface themes from your uploaded feedback, compare it with other sources, or dig into a specific finding from your report.
