Connect the Survicate MCP
In ChatGPT, the Survicate MCP can be added as a Custom MCP.
1. The ChatGPT account Owner (or the admin with sufficient rights in your organization) needs to add it first, with the below steps:
go to SettingsĀ ā”ļø Security and login and turn on Developer mode,
ācreate a new app, give it a name (for exampleĀ Survicate MCP), paste the URL
https://mcp.survicate.com/, and select OAuth as the authentication method,
āauthorize Survicate: ChatGPT should open a Survicate login window, where you can sign in and approve access to the correct workspace. If the list of actions is empty, refresh it after logging in, and you should see the Survicate tools appear,
ātest the app (that is saved as a draft, visible only to you) - open a new chat, enable Survicate MCP from the tools picker, and ask a question about your surveys or feedback,
if it works as expected, click Publish to make the Survicate MCP available to everyone in your workspace.
2. Once it's added at the organization level, individual members can go to Customize ā”ļø Plugins and find the Survicate MCP:
Then, click on the + sign to continue to connect your Survicate workspace:
Each user will be prompted to confirm their login in Survicate. This is to ensure they have access to the correct data, surveys, feedback, and more.
Using the Survicate MCP in ChatGPT
Now that you have Survicate MCP enabled in ChatGPT, you can start asking ChatGPT questions about your customers, their feedback, and draft new surveys without leaving the conversation
You can ask ChatGPT to use a specific tool, or include a vague reference to survey or Survicate feedback, and ChatGPT will ask if you want to use your newly connected Survicate MCP.
