Screenshots are a simple way to make your feedback clear and helpful. They’re especially useful when reporting bugs or giving detailed input.

📌This feature is only available on some plans for website and in-product surveys, as well as specific question types:

Add a screenshot button to your question

To enable the screen capture option for your question, navigate to Settings for the selected question and activate the Screenshot button.

Please note it's not possible to test this feature in the preview mode.

Take a screenshot

To share a screenshot, respondents have two options:

Partial screen capture: click the screenshot icon next to the question's Submit button, drag to select the desired area, and click Save.⬇️

Full-screen capture: click the screenshot icon and then click Save. ⬇️

Both options ensure the screenshot is properly attached to the response once the Save button is clicked.

To change the screenshot, the respondent can easily click on the previous attachment to delete it and take a new one.

Only the answer can be set as mandatory. Attaching a screenshot is optional and is not required when submitting a question.

It's possible to add one screenshot per question.

The border color can be adjusted if needed.

Analyze answers with a screenshot

The attached screenshot will show

  • in the overall results, if the answer contains any text in it (e.g., a comment or a text question input):
