What to do if the responses are not sent to my tool I connected the integration with

If the integration between Survicate and the tool you connected doesn't work, please try the troubleshooting steps below which might help you to resolve the issue on your own.

Enable and set up the integration

Make sure the integration Is enabled on a survey level. Open the survey you're working on and go to the Connect tab. Select the integration you need and click on the Connect button. If there is no Connect button, it means the integration is already enabled.

Please also check the integration settings and confirm that all the fields are set - thus, if you want to update the objects/attributes in your tool, make sure to select them on this step and set up the mapping. If you need help with setting up the integration of your choice, please check our help center for more details.

Test integration

Some integrations have the possibility to send sample data to your tool by clicking the Test integration button. If you see an error after clicking this button, please try to reauthorize the integration as described in the next step and test it once again. If it still doesn't work, please contact our support team at support@survicate.com or open a new chat conversation so we can help.

Reauthorization

If you notice that the integration doesn't work on your account, please reauthorize it in Settings > Integrations by clicking Disconnect and Connect again. This step is safe to perform - no data will be lost due to the reauthorization.

Once done, please check if the data is flowing to your tool. If not, please proceed to the next steps below or contact our support team at support@survicate.com or open a new chat conversation so we can help.

Recognizing respondents in link/email surveys

If you are using integration with the link/email survey (Salesforce, Intercom, Active Campaign, HubSpot etc.) that should pass the respondent's answers to another tool's contact, object, or field, please remember to select a distribution method for the survey in the Configure tab - Identify respondents with. In such a case, your respondents would be recognized, It's necessary to collect respondents' information to identify the respondents to pass the data to the correct field, object or contact.
