Insights Hub is a tool that gathers, categorizes, and analyzes feedback from multiple sources, such as the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, your Email inbox, customer support chats, online reviews, and more.

Insights Hub can be used to:

  • collect feature requests from your users;

  • automatically detect customer sentiment;

  • identify technical issues and bugs reported by users;

  • gather user insights on various aspects of your product or service;

  • understand your customers' needs and wants better.

It also comes with a Research Assistant where, thanks to AI, you can quickly and effectively find answers to all your questions. The responses are generated based on the feedback you integrated into the Insights Hub and the answers collected with surveys in your workspace.

📌 Depending on your subscription plan, some limits apply to the amount of data you can analyze in the Hub, integrations you can connect, or the length of transcriptions.

How does Insights Hub work?

Navigate to Insights Hub at the top of your Survicate Panel.

Here, you can create a survey whose responses will be present in the Insights Hub, or connect integrations to automatically import customer interactions, tickets, or reviews.

All feedback pieces you decide to send to the Insights Hub will be presented as pieces feedback for you to analyze.

After you connect sources, feedback will appear in the Insights Hub in real time.

Additionally, as you can see in the screenshot below, feedback will be automatically segmented into Topics:

By clicking on one of the feedback pieces, you will be presented with more details about this piece of feedback, and you will have the option to share its link or delete it:

💡 Read on to learn how to filter feedback, make the most out of Topics, and more!

How to filter and search for messages?

You can filter the Feedback pieces and Insights by Date, Sentiment, Insight source, and Rating:

This way, you can find data from a certain time range as well as filter by Sentiment, Source, or Rating, all at once.

The Search for feedback bar lets you scan through feedback by typing in specific keywords, reviews authors' names, and many more.

How to use Topics?

On the left-hand side of the Insights Hub, you will be able to see feedback categorized into Topics.

This segmentation is done thanks to AI, which prepares the most suitable categories based on the feedback you send to Insights Hub.

Feel free to click on one of the Topics to analyze individual feedback pieces that are included. You can also share a chosen Topic with your team, delete it, or apply filters and/or searches to further analyze the data:

Inside a Topic, you may notice the Insights tab as well. These are further categories into which the AI assistant splits your feedback:

Insights are regenerated when new data came in that influences the existing insights or can be used to generate new insights.

Feel free to turn one or more of the Insights into a separate Topic to best suit your needs.

If you think a specific piece of feedback doesn't fit well into the Insight it's in, you can remove it:

Add more feedback sources

At any point, you can click on the Add feedback button to connect another data source or to add a note manually.

Adding a note is a quick way to save a piece of feedback by filling out the fields below:

Connecting an integration lets you automate the flow of feedback from the source you choose:

Research Assistant

Apart from automatically generated Topics and Insights, you also get to use the Research Assistant to make the most of your data.

You can analyze feedback stored in the Insights Hub and on your surveys with the Research Assistant.

Find answers to all your questions quickly and effectively, with AI. The Research Assistant can answer your question based on:

  • data from various sources that you synced to Insights Hub;

  • the survey results on your account.

You can use the Research Assistant whether you have already connected some data sources, or just collected feedback with your surveys.

Navigate to Research Assistant at the top of your Survicate Panel.

Here, thanks to AI, you can ask the Assistant to identify trends and key issues that the respondents report or to better understand customer opinions on your products, services, and business.

The answers are based on data from sources you connected to the Insights Hub, as well as feedback from the surveys on your Survicate account.

Feel free to ask follow-up questions if the first answer isn't clear or suitable enough.

You can even specify a timeframe to analyze, such as What was the most requested feature in the past 30 days?

Feel free to use one of the Suggestions!

Research Assistant's responses take into account all the survey responses you have in Survicate (of surveys that aren't archived).

If you'd rather it analyzed only chosen surveys, specify them in the prompt, e.g.:

Summarize negative feedback from respondents from surveys "CSAT 2024" and "User satisfation Q1 2024".

❗️The Research Assistant is currently only aware of surveys containing these question types:

  • Single

  • Dropdown

  • Multiple Choice

  • Rating

  • Smiley

  • NPS®

🚀 Now, all your feedback can be analyzed in seconds. And the Research Assistant can help you decide what surveys to run in the future to fill in the missing information.
