Linear is an issue-tracking and product management tool designed to help software teams plan, track, and collaborate on development tasks.

With Survicate and Linear integration you can send insights from Survicate directly into Linear as actionable issues, helping your team prioritize and act on feedback efficiently.
This integration is perfect for product managers looking to maintain a seamless workflow between collecting user feedback and driving product development in Linear.

The Insights HubΒ - Linear integration allows you to create Linear issues from Insights and feedback pieces.

Read on to learn how to set it up! πŸš€

Enable the integration

Step 1. Navigate to IntegrationsΒ at the top of your Survicate Panel.

Step 2. Choose Linear from the list of sources.

Step 3. Click Connect in the top-right corner of the next page.

Step 4. A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm you'd like to connect Linear to Survicate.

If you don't see the pop-up window, you may need to allow pop-ups in your browser - please look for the settings in your browser URL bar, or use instructions for Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge, or Safari.

πŸš€ Now, when the integration is connected, you can go back to Insights Hub and start using it.

We'll explain how to make the most of this integration in the next paragraph.

Using the integration

Turn Insights into Linear issues

In Insights Hub, select an Insight you'd like to turn into a Linear issue and click the three dots:

Click on Connect to Linear:

A pop-up will appear where you can edit the Title, Description, and fill out other fields, before clicking Submit to turn the Insight into a Linear issue:

When the issue is created successfully, you should see this notification:

You can also View Linear issue directly from the Insights Hub.

The Insight will also automatically be pinned, and you'll see the Linear logo next to it. Clicking the logo will take you to the Linear issue.

You can unpin the Insight, or click on the three dots again to disconnect the insight from Linear. Disconnecting the insight from Linear will unpin it and remove the Linear icon, it will not delete the Linear issue.

Turn Feedback pieces into Linear issues

In Insights Hub, open a piece of feedback you'd like to send to Linear, and click on Linear issues:

A pop-up will appear where you can edit the Title, Description, and fill out other fields, before clicking Submit to turn the feedback into a Linear issue:

In the bottom left corner, you'll see confirmation that the issue was created successfully.

You can also Go to Linear issue directly from the Insights Hub.

Each piece of feedback can create multiple Linear issues.

If some issues have already been created from a feedback piece, click on Linear issues:

and you should see information about those issues:
